Police in Nashville say a man was sitting on his porch when the tractor-trailer plowed into the front of the home.

The incident occurred on Cherokee Avenue on Thursday afternoon, according to WTVF.

Metro Nashville Police said the truck hit the house while it was loading a piece of equipment onto its flatbed.
