It may look like a terrible accident has just happened – but it’s only a drill. The Cumberland County Health Dept, along with police, fire, EMS and other emergency personnel, will hold a mock DUI crash in front of Cumberland County High School on Stanley St, this morning. The mock drill will take place around 9:40 AM and is a simulation of an actual accident taking place after a prom where a driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs and has crashed with injuries and fatalities involved. All emergency personnel will be treating the scene like a real accident so please be aware of sirens and emergency vehicles around that time.
