Stone Memorial High School will hold a mock DUI this morning at around 9:50 AM in the school parking lot. The drill is a joint effort conducted by the Cumberland County Health Dept., Crossville Police and Fire Dept. Cumberland County EMS, and other agencies. The mock DUI is a “simulation” of an actual accident where students have been to the prom, the driver of one of the vehicles is under the influence of drugs or alcohol and a crash occurs with injuries and fatalities. All emergency vehicles and personnel will be treating the scene as a real accident, so all motorists are advised to be aware of sirens and emergency vehicle travelling to the scene at that time. SMHS juniors and seniors will view the drill and participate in the prom promise pledge that will be presented by the Cumberland County TAD center after the drill.  A similar drill was conducted last week at CCHS.
