Chattanooga Police have issued an alert involving a dangerous mental patient who escaped from Moccasin Bend.

Authorities say 36-year old Robert Harris fled from the hospital Sunday night

Harris was on a Law Enforcement hold out of Hamblen County and is considered dangerous.

Robert Harris is described as a white male, 5′ 8”, weighs about 200 lbs, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. He also has a full beard. If you know where he may be or if you see him call 911 immediately. There has been no word on the man’s condition or what medications he may have been taking, but Moccasin Bend said he is considered dangerous.
