MCMINNVILLE MOTHER AND BABY FOUND DEAD IN APPARTMENT
A maintenance worker finds a McMinville woman and her 2-year-old dead in their apartment. The bodies of Marisha Drake and her daughter Ka’Lyrica are at the medical examiner’s office in Nashville for autopsy. Police say the bodies may have been in the apartment four to five days before a maintenance worker found them. Family members are desperate for answers. Mona Lisa says her sister was six months pregnant and had a doctor’s appointment for a minor infection but had no other medical problems. Investigators say there are no obvious signs of foul play.
