Over in McMinn County 20 year old Joshua Sanford didn’t like the idea of police taking his moped away from him after he was stopped for not wearing a helmet and having no tags.  So what did he do?  Broke into the police impound lot and stole his moped back.  Rode it away.   Police then had the chore of hunting Sanford down and arresting him for burglary and theft among others.  He’s now in jail on 51-thousand dollars bond.  And his moped is back in the impound lot.
