During the Cumberland County Young Republicans meeting Thursday night – guest speaker Mayor R.J. Crawford stated he will not make any money from the proposed merger of Crossville Water and Sewer Department and Cumberland Plateau Water Authority.  This after CNF published a report that there was a possibility the Mayor could make financial gain from the transfer of Crossville water and sewer assets because he is a partner in a company, Lake Holiday Owners LLC., which owns the Holiday Lake bed.   Below is the video clip from the Young Republicans meeting showing the Mayor’s remarks concerning the merger.
