Crossville Mayor James Mayberry has called for a special meeting of the City Council Tuesday at noon for the purpose of removing Steve Hill as interim City Manager.  Hill has come under fire recently for unprofessional conduct over-seeing city personnell among other improprieties.  The agenda items reads as follows:

Due to pending litigation, revelations from grievance at Personnel Board meeting, and insecurity among employees, Mayor Mayberry feels it is in the best interest of the City to terminate Mr. Hill.
