MAYLAND FIRE VICTIMS SEEKING HELP IN REBUILDING

11005931_942559925778296_1732462077_nA family whose house burned last week in Mayland is seeking help in rebuilding.  Terry and Cheryl Amonette have been operating Starwood Market in Mayland, TN for 13 years. Last Friday the Amonette’s were tending the store when their home caught fire due to an electrical short in a small appliance. The blaze quickly raged out of control and engulfed the home and the attached garage, destroying all of their personal belongings and two vehicles, plus additional car parts and construction materials

The Amonette’s lost everything due to the fire including most of the new construction they were adding on to the house.

While the residents of Mayland and surrounding areas have stopped by to help with donations of clothes and sundries, the cost to rebuild will be extensive.  Unfortunately their insurance had lapsed and they are faced with rebuilding at their own expense.  There has been a gofundme account set up for anyone who would like to donate.  Here is the link to the gofundme account.
