The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who walked away from court in Downtown Knoxville Tuesday afternoon.

The sheriff says a jury found Svante Hinton guilty of attempted second-degree murder. When the jury returned to the courtroom to read a verdict on other charges in the case, Hinton didn’t show up.

Hinton was out on bond during his trial. He faces a minimum of 22 years in prison.
