23 year old Michael Phillips was walking along Sparta Highway near Ace Hardware Tuesday when a silver Jeep hit him.  The Jeep, with a brush guard on the front, left the scene.  Phillips was taken to the hospital with cuts and bruises.  The impact was hard enough to cause Phillips to flip several times along the highway.   Police are on the lookout for the vehicle.
