Law Enforcement from the Roane County Sheriffs Department including detectives, along with TBI officials, were sent to a residence on Laurel Bluff Road south of Kingston last night just after 10pm to where authorities say a man shot and killed his father inside his home. The suspect, identified as 40 year old Brent Houston Humphreys, is charged with 1st degree murder of Hoyal Humphreys. Brent Humphreys remains in jail this afternoon without bond.
