Traffic downtown got a little scary today around noon when a man wearing  a black hoodie began running up to cars, in front of cars and around cars at the intersection of 4th and Main.  The man was heard shouting to drivers “come on” as if daring them to hit him.  Police were called and when they arrived the man ran out in front of the patrol car. Officers had to force the unidentified male to the sidewalk where he became combative.  He was taken down to the sidewalk and handcuffed by officers when the subject began screaming.  An ambulance was called to the scene to check out the individual.  Officers told CNF the man called himself “Lucifer”.   Disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and possibly other charges will be filed.
