Knoxville: Officers who responded to a hit and run Sunday got much more than expected when the suspect returned to the crash sight.

Police say when they caught David Whitehead he smelled of alcohol. They arrested him but it doesn’t end there. They say Whitehead was complaining about his handcuffs being too tight and when an officer took them off too adjust them Whitehead began ripping off his clothes right there on the street, including the women’s lingerie and pantyhose he was wearing.  Whitehead, now naked, began fighting the police when they tried to restrain him.  Ultimately Whitehead had to be tasered before being put in the police cruiser.  He faces several charges now.
