MAN HIT BY CAR WHICH LEFT THE SCENE AT BLIND ZEBRA BEING INVESTIGATED

Many have asked CNF to find out about a hit and run that happened last Saturday evening in front of the Blind Zebra Bar in Crossville.  We contacted interim Crossville Police Chief Mark Rosser who told us there was a person of interest being questioned.  According to police,  54-year-old Billy Miller of Genesis Road was leaving the Blind Zebra around mid-night Saturday walking across Highway 70 East when he was hit by a car traveling toward town.  The impact was so hard Miller was thrown into the air, over the top of the car and onto the pavement about 120 feet from initial impact. The car, reported to be a 2013 Nissan, continued on into town without stopping. Miller was rushed to CMC and then airlifted to UT Medical Center where he is currently listed in ‘fair’ condition. A 35 year old Crossville woman is a person of interest in the case. No charges have been filed yet.
