CUMBERLAND CO SHERIFF REPORT

On 11/21/2024 I, Deputy Jacob Moore spoke with a caller in reference to him locating some money on the side of the road.  The caller explained that he had located two sandwich sized zip-loc bags on the side of the road nearthe 2000 Block of Highland Lane. He also stated that the bags contained an unknown amount of US Currencyand some tapes from an adding machine.

The tapes had writing on them but was unable to read it due to
weathering on the bag. The caller said he could approximate the value and he said it was no more than $1,000.
I explained to him that he could hold on to the money for 30 days and I took his phone number in the event
that someone were to come to the Sheriff’s Office to claim the money.
