A Tabor Loop resident got more than he bargained for when he called in a burglary in progress to Central Dispatch.  Deputies were sent to the home where the resident, 32 year old Kelly Ray Barnwell, had locked himself in a bedroom.  He told deputies that he heard a noise in the house, went to investigate, and thought there were three intruders hiding behind furniture. That’s when he locked himself in the bedroom and called the law and that got him in all kinds of trouble.  In the bedroom deputies found drugs and drug paraphernalia and Barnwell apparently under the influence.  Barnwell was arrested on drug charges and taken to jail.  The report doesn’t say if there was any evidence of a burglary in the home other than the back door seemed to have been forced open.
