MORGAN CO SHERIFFS OFFICE

Friday morning at approximately 9 am Officers from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Executed a narcotics search warrant at 114 EC Noe Rd which is off Corbin Hill. This is the residence of Jerry Roysdon. The search came after a months-long investigation by investigators into the illegal sale of narcotic pills by Roysdon from his home. Officers entered the home and encountered Roysdon in his bedroom.. After a brief struggle with Roysdon, he was taken into custody. Officers searched the home and seized approx. 350 NARCOTIC PAIN PILLS, 4.3 GRAMS OF CRYSTAL METHAMPHETAMINE, MARIJUANA, 5 HANDGUNS, AND $15,000 CASH MONEY. ROYSDON WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE MORGAN COUNTY JAIL WHERE HE FACES A LAUNDRY LIST OF CHARGES INCLUDING 1) SALE OF SCH II OXYCODONE, 2) SALE OF SCH II HYDROCODONE, 3) SALE OF SCH IV XANAX, 4) SALE OF SCH V GABAPENTIN, 5) SALE OF SCH III SUBOXONE, 6)FELONY POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, 7) POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY A CONVICTED FELON, 8)  CHILD ENDANGERMENT, 9) RESISTING ARREST, 10) SALE OF SCH II METHAMPHETAMINE.”
