A very longtime Crossville businessman and former Cumberland County commissoiner, Hassell Ray York, has passed.

Mr York owned Hassell Ray York and Associates Accounting firm for more than six decades.

He also served as a County Commissioner along with a multitude of civic organization over many years. Mr. York died from complications resulting from a stroke a week earlier. Hassell Ray York was 87.  Services will be announced at a later date.
