KNOXVILLE BASED CONCERT LIGHTING COMPANY SERVED SEARCH WARRANTS

WSPA number of FBI agents and Knoxville police officers were at Bandit Lites CEO Michael Strickland’s West Knox County home and the headquarters of Bandit Lites with search warrants Thursday morning.  A source close to the investigation tells us agents are looking into fraudulent computer activity involving ID theft.

No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made.

Nate Evans, attorney for Strickland, issued the following statement Thursday afternoon:

“According to the search warrant, it appears that the search was a result of a complaint made by Mr. Strickland’s estranged wife.”

Strickland also commented, “I want to make this perfectly clear. This search has absolutely nothing to do with Bandit Lites or any of the operations of this company.”  Bandit Lites is a major stage lighting company and does lighting for concerts including the Garth Brooks World Tour event.
