There has been a lot of news over the past year about Kroger rolling out online shopping in certain stores.  Most recently, Nashville area stores have implemented the online service where shoppers simply pick out their groceries using a computer or smartphone, then drive to Kroger where someone brings the groceries to your car.   CNF has received several requests for us to find out if Crossville is in line for online shopping anytime soon.  We contacted the local Crossville Kroger management who told us they had not been notified of the new online shopping service coming anytime soon.  They did however express a desire for the online service to come to Crossville Kroger stating it would be a tremendous help to many who wish to shop without getting out of their car – especially in the last few days.  We were told the online shopping service was being tested in larger markets like Knoxville and Nashville area stores.
