IDENTITY THIEVES FLEE TO THE WOODS, LEAVING BEHIND BMW IN PARKING LOT

Didn’t take long for a Crossville Police K-9 officer to nab two would-be identity thieves trying to run a scam on the Verizon Store.  Police were called in when Antonio Ramon Ozoria and Luis Felipe Eusebio-Ponce tried to buy a couple of iPhones using a stolen identity.  They didn’t quite make the transaction though as the real Verizon customer was contacted who told Verizon the two men had apparently stolen his identity.  That’s when the two took off, running into the woods behind the store – leaving behind the 2011 BMW they were driving.  A K-9 Unit was dispatched into the woods and quickly caught the two suspects.  Police found dozens of driver’s licenses, student ID cards and American Express Cards in the BMW, all with different names on them.  Both Ozoria and Ponce have extensive felony records.
