Copper is high on thieves lists these days and they will do whatever it takes to get it.  Thieves broke into a house on Genesis road and literally ‘ripped out’ the house wiring through the wall outlets.  But that wasn’t enough, they also kicked in a utility room door and stole the water heater wiring.  The house was not being lived in at the time of the break in.   With copper bringing more three dollars a pound now, thieves are targeting houses, factories, and even TVA substations to get it.
