For history buffs and local residents, here’s a very good video depicting the origins of the Cumberland Homesteads and in particular, the Cumberland Mountain State Park.  Other than mispronouncing President and Mrs. Roosevelts name (pronounced Rosavelt) it is very well produced to give a brief glimpse into the early beginnings of the Cumberland Homesteads.
