HERE’S YOUR CHANCE TO ‘SOUND OFF’ ON PROPOSED $40MILLION CROSSVILLE REC CENTER

Whether you’re for or against the proposed 40 million dollar Crossville indoor recreation center you’re going to have a chance to voice your opinion in an upcoming public comment forum.

The forum will begin at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, in Crossville City Hall. Attorney Randy York said the meeting is a requirement of the state statute that allowed for the creation of the Crossville Sports Authority, the board that will oversee funding and construction of the complex.

There has been a lot of controversy over the largest Crossville financial project ever since the City Council would not allow a referendum of City voters to either accept the proposed rec center or reject it.
