635544182689100143-greeneville-policeNot certain what the strategy was with Greeneville Police calling a press conference to address the deaths of two infants found dead in a Greeneville home.  Almost no information was given at the conference.

The spokesperson did say that both babies were siblings and their parents are not named persons of interest.  Other than that, no more information was given at the news conference such as the apparent cause of death or any other circumstances surrounding the deaths.

Earlier today police said they received a 911 call around 7:48 a.m. that a 13-month-old was in distress at 304 North Hardin Street.

The Greeneville Fire Department found the infant unresponsive. A second infant, 2-months-old, was found unresponsive in the same home.

Both were taken to Takoma Hospital’s emergency room where both were pronounced dead.
