After months of controversy, Roane County Commissioner’s  voted to have “In God We Trust” placed on the Courthouse.  Commissioners voted 13-1 in support of the measure, with Commissioner Steve Kelly casting the single “no” vote. The signage will be posted over the north and south entrances with a third sign being included in the commission chambers.   Private contributions will fund the signs.
