The Cumberland County Republican Party hosted a candidate forum Thursday night featuring candidates for the two contested School Board positions and the Cumberland County Assessor of Property race. The following is the video of the Assessor of Property forum with candidates Kelli Tipton Buchannon and incumbent Sandy Gilbert. The candidates were supplied questions for the forum in advance and were given 3 minutes to answer them along with an introductory time and a closing comment segment.

For the most part the forum consisted of the two candidates giving their qualifications and vision for the Assessor’s office. Then at the end, Kelli Buchannon caught Ms Gilbert off guard by telling the audience about some serious irregularities in the Assessors Office.  Those talking points are located at 27:54 minutes into the video
