FRANKLIN TN WOMAN CRASHES, 13 EMPTY CANS OF WHIPPED CREAM FOUND IN CAR

FRANKLIN TN: Police said a woman, allegedly high on gases found in retail products, was charged with a DUI after crashing her car into a mailbox.

Officials said 28-year-old Anna K. Thomas crashed her SUV into a mailbox on Battle Avenue near Cannon Street around 9 a.m. May 20.

Authorities said Thomas was disoriented, and 13 nearly empty cans of whipped cream were found scattered in her vehicle.

Thomas was hospitalized after the wreck. She has been charged with DUI and failure to report a crash. Officials said the second charge stemmed from running her vehicle into a ditch in a different location prior to crashing into the mailbox.

Police warned about the dangers of misusing retail aerosol products, which they said could lead to serious medical conditions and death.
