Media reports this morning indicate that two Crossville City Council Members got into a fight in the City Hall parking lot last night after a budget work session. After the meeting, Council members Jesse Kerley and Pete Souza had an altercation and had to be restrained by others. Reportedly, Kerley told the media this has been building up since January. He is quoted as saying when the two were leaving the meeting Souza stopped one of Kerley’s family members and was ‘cussing him’ and went on to say that Souza swung at him (Kerley).  As most readers know, the relationship between council members has been ‘contentious’ to say the least for some time now.  One attendee of the meeting said, “I’ve been expecting the whole bunch to have a free-for-all just anytime”
