An inmate who escaped from the Fentress County jail earlier this week has been captured.

Josh Carroll was arrested around 8:30 p.m. Friday at a friend’s house in Fentress County. The sheriff’s says Carroll was taken into custody without incident.

Carroll was in custody for previous home break-ins.

Three people inside the home will be charged with abetting a fugitive.

Two children were also in the home. They are now in DCS custody.
