Monday Fentress County Sheriff’s Deputies went to 740 L.D. York Rd. to serve a Criminal Warrant on Jacob Bridges. According to reports, while  the officers were at the residence and waiting for a wrecker to tow a Toyota 4-Runner that was being seized as evidence in an ongoing theft case, Donna Bridges, 41, began cursing and screaming at the deputies, made multiple statements that deputies were not taking her vehicle and to leave her property. When the wrecker arrived on scene Bridges stated that they were not taking her vehicle and got in the driver’s side and shut the door and was attempting to start the vehicle when deputies reached in and tried to get the keys.  Bridges stuffed the keys into her bra. Bridges then reportedly stepped out of the vehicle cursing and screaming.   Bridges was told that the vehicle was being taken after which she screamed at officers and assaulted one of the Deputies. Bridges was then placed under arrest and was actively resisting. Once  Bridges was in handcuffs she was then transported to the Fentress County Justice Center, where she was booked on charges of Attempt to Tamper With Evidence, Assault on an Officer, and Resisting Arrest.  (Fentress Co Courier)
