FATAL SHOOTING CLAIMS LIFE OF CROSSVILLE MAN

PRESS RELEASE: CUMBERLAND COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatch to 115 Sandy Creek Road at approximately 12:23 p.m. to a reported shooting. Officers discovered Paul Wing, age 58, of Crossville, injured at the scene. Mr. Wing was transported to Cumberland Medical Center where he later died

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Investigators and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation

responded to the scene and began an investigation. The investigation is ongoing at the time of this press release and the body is being sent for an autopsy. Additional releases will be made

as information becomes available. (Sandy Creek Road is located in the western part of the county off Cow Pen Road)
