EVERYBODY SING…”TURKEY IN THE STRA…UH, SNOW?”

p842995392-3It wasn’t enough that the poor Jack-O’-lantern was covered in snow for Halloween, now it appears turkey’s who survive being the main course at grandma’s house could get snow on their beak.  Most weather experts, and we use that term loosely, are predicting snow to some extent for Thanksgiving.  As always, more in the higher elevations, less in the lower.  As it stands right now Wednesday evening rain may be changing into flurries by Thursday morning…a 40 per cent chance of the white stuff tapering off by afternoon.  Because of the rain beforehand, the snow probably wont lay very long and then there’s a chance of rain later on Thanksgiving.  Some forecasters are calling for up to two inches in higher elevations of East Tennessee – including the Cumberland Plateau.  As you can see,  it’s pretty much an iffy situation of how much snow will fall.  But then, that’s what most weather predicting is, ‘iffy’.  Since we did have snow on Halloween and now possibly on Thanksgiving – could it be?  Maybe?  Perhaps?
