Officials say crews from the Harriman Fire Department were sent to Oasis just after 2:19 a.m.

Harriman Fire Department requested help from Rockwood Fire Department, Kingston Fire Department, and the Roane County Rescue Squad to fight the multi-story structure fire.

The Oasis is an apartment building, laundry mat, barbershop, and convenience store.

A Rockwood firefighter says the building is a total loss.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
