PRESS RELEASE FROM CROSSVILLE POLICE DEPT.

On Monday, August 3, 2015 at about 5:00 PM Officers from the Crossville Police Department executed a residential search warrant at 98 Russell Lane in Crossville. The search was conducted expecting to locate scheduled prescription narcotics that the residents had been selling from that location.

The search warrant was a result of a police investigation into sale of illegal substances from that location. The residence was secured by the Crossville Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics Team and the search conducted by Detectives. Found during the search were several  suboxone strips, marijuana and other scheduled prescription narcotics of interest to the investigation.

The residents were taken into custody during the execution of the search warrant for investigative detention and identified as Joel and Cheryl Hall, 56 and 55 years of age, respectively. This case will be presented to the Criminal Court for indictments charging the Halls.
