CUMBERLAND COUNTY STORM CLEAN-UP WORKER KILLED IN SKIDDER ACCIDENT

A man working on the ice storm cleanup in Cumberland County has died while working on the clean up. Emergency personnel were called to a location on the 2000 block of Clear Creek Rd. at about 2:15 PM Wednesday. Officials say  the 38-year-old man had been working on a wood skidder when he went over an embankment, throwing the man off the machine which then ran over the worker.  The victim was working as a sub-contractor out of Mississippi during the FEMA cleanup which has been contracted by a company out of Florida.
