CUMBERLAND COUNTY ROAD DEPT BLDG TOTAL LOSS FROM FIRE

The recent fire that caused major damage at the Cumberland County Election Commission office has forced the Election Commission to move early voting to North Main Street in Crossville.

Also, the Cumberland County Road Department suffered major loss due to that same fire. Cumberland County Road Superintendent Stanley Hall has issued a statement regarding the damage to the building:

FROM CUMBERLAND CO ROAD SUPERINTENDENT STANLEY HALL:
As most of you know, we experienced a fire this past weekend, and our Road Department building is a total loss. Because of this, our internet and phone services have been down.
It’s definitely been an inconvenience, but we are staying positive and focused on moving forward. We will overcome this and come back stronger.

We truly appreciate everyone’s patience, support, and understanding during this time. More updates will be shared soon
