CUMBERLAND COUNTY FAIR WINS DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP AT STATE CONVENTION

The 2016 Cumberland County Fair was chosen as the AAA Division Champion Fair at the Tennessee Association of Fairs annual convention and awards banquet at the Sheraton Music City in Nashville, TN on January 19 – 21, 2017. The Cumberland County Fair Association Board of Directors and Fairest of the Fair, Gracy Mae Bilyeu, were on hand for the ceremony. Cumberland County’s 2016 fair, with “RIDIN’, ROCKIN’, & LIVESTOCKIN’” as the theme attracted over 53,000 people and was a tremendous success due to the effort of volunteers, the community, sponsors, vendors, and the exhibitors who participate each year.

“As President of the fair association I am humbled to lead this group of people. We are a great team who work together to bring the fair to our community. No one person can do it alone, and we are thankful for the volunteers, sponsors, and exhibitors who support us every year. This award is shared with them,” said Ricky Smith, President of the Cumberland County Fair Association.

Rhea County Fair won the AA Division Fair, and the Bledsoe County Fair was awarded the A Division Fair Champion.

The 2017 Cumberland County Fair is set for August 28th – September 2nd.
