A shooting Sunday afternoon has claimed the life of a Cumberland County woman.  55-year-old Teresa Austin died from a gunshot wound near her residence in Never Fail community  Sources tell CNF the shooting was the result of a dispute with a family member.  It’s not clear if the gun discharging into Austin was accidental or intentional.  The TBI is investigating the incident along with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department. A person of interest is being held for questioning identified at Stacy Austin – reportedly the nephew of Teresa Austin. Never Fail is near the Cumberland – White county line.
