SEARCH WARRANT DRUG BUST
On Friday March 20, 2015, Officers with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, the
Crossville Police Department and agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation executed a
search warrant at a residence located at 3956 Glade Creek Road Sparta, Tennessee in
Cumberland County.
The search warrant stemmed from an investigation  involving the sell and delivery of
marijuana, which was conducted by the Narcotics Division of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s
Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Mikell (Tony) Tasker age 50, the owner of the
residence, had been the target of a narcotics investigation where marijuana was being sold from
his home.
During the execution of the search warrant officers and agents seized approximately 9.25
pounds of marijuana, cash, several vehicles, and firearms. During the search warrant, Travis Lee
Coleman age 30, who was staying with Tasker, was taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
Tasker is facing charges of Sell and Delivery of a Schedule VI drug and Coleman is facing
charges of Possession of Schedule II as well as Schedule IV drugs. The case will be presented to
the Cumberland County Grand Jury at a later date.
