CUMBERLAND CO SHERIFF GETS HIGH……(for Alzheimer’s)

A very good turnout last night at the Cumberland County Justice Center to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Tennessee Foundation.  Cumberland County Sheriff Casey Cox and Circuit Court Clerk Larry Sherrill agreed to ‘camp’ out on the roof top of the Justice Center until their goal of $2500 was reached for the Foundation.  Several food tents were setup for those in attendance with the money going toward the goal. Fortunately, the Sheriff and Clerk didn’t have to stay on the roof long before the goal was reached. Sheriff Cox told CNF, “of course it had to happen on one of the coldest nights we’ve had in a while”   The Sheriff wants to thank all who turned out for the fund-raiser.dsc_0089dsc_0085dsc_0087dsc_0083dsc_0077
