CUMBERLAND CO FIREFIGHTER DIES, A GREAT ‘PATRIOT’

10689436_1500651806849062_3859728374941515468_nCumberland County firefighters are mourning the loss of one of their own today.  Andrew Benson, a volunteer fireman stationed at Crab Orachard, died on the Fourth of July in a tragic accident while working on a vehicle. Andrew was known as a great American and very patriotic.  He was instrumental in getting the section of steel from the World Trade Center brought to Crossville and put on display at the County Fire Hall.   10704137_10202767517733509_2553564248666293546_nFuneral services for A.J. Benson, Sr. 46 of Crab Orchard will be Thursday 7/9 at 10 am at Bilbrey Funeral Home. Burial will folow in Crossville City Cemetery.
