Marissa, a recent graduate of Belmont University along with her fellow members of the Belmont University Chorale were chosen to backup the band on their song “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”. Marissa says the experience “was nothing short of epic. To share the stage with such legends, who are as kind as they are entertaining, was the opportunity of a lifetime. What a thrill to have a picture of the video showing me larger than life singing with Mick Jagger!” Marissa attended Belmont University where she was awarded a Faculty Scholarship and graduated Magna cum Laude Belmont Scholar with a major in French and a minor in vocal performance in May. She has been awarded a Teaching Assistantship position in Creteil, France for the 2015-2016 school year where she will be teaching English as a Second Language to the French students of that region.
