CROSSVILLE WOMAN DEMANDS A SIP OF BOYFRIEND’S REDBULL…THEN THIS HAPPENS

On July 22, 2023 City units were dispatched to Highland Square for a domestic assault. Upon arrival City Officers made contact with a female identified as Mrs. Jordan Faith Gann inside of her vehicle. Mrs. Gann was driving around in the parking lot and pulled into a parking spot as an officer got behind her vehicle. The officer made contact with Mrs. Gann and asked her what took place between her and her boyfriend. Mrs. Gann stated that they were arguing over if she could have a drink of his Redbull. Mrs. Gann stated that he had said no and that she then took the can and threw it out of the window and might have struck him in the face while she was throwing it.

Another officer obtained a statement from her boyfriend about what took place. He stated that Mrs. Gann had taken his drink, struck him on the right side of his face, and then threw the drink outside of the window. He also stated that Mrs. Gann grabbed his right pant leg in an attempt to keep him inside of the car and wouldn’t let go until it ripped. The officer observed a red mark on the right side of his face and his right pant leg to be ripped.

The officers determined Mrs. Gann to be the primary aggressor. Mrs. Gann was placed in custody and transported to the Cumberland County Sheriffs Office to intake for booking where she was charged with domestic assault. An officer then served bond conditions on Mrs. Gann, who acknowledged and signed the bond conditions

Mrs. Gann was also served with an Order of Protection that her boyfriend filed. Mrs. Gann stated she acknowledged the order of protection and was told her court date.
