CROSSVILLE WOMAN CATCHES LUCKY BREAK WHEN WARRANT FROM MARSHALL COUNTY NOT EXECUTED

Last Thursday at around 9 pm.  A Crossville police cruiser was patrolling Miller Avenue when the officer observed a gray Nissan Altima that did not have working tag lights.  He made a traffic stop on the vehicle in front of Summitt Auto. Upon speaking to driver Traci Beavers, she informed him that she did not have a driver’s license or insurance for the vehicle.

The officer ran her name and date of birth through dispatch at which time they informed him that she had a revoked license and an FTA  (failure to appear) warrant out of Marshall County but they were not willing to come and get her.  The officer wrote Ms. Beavers citations for her tag lights and lack of insurance and cited her in lieu of arrest for driving on a revoked license. She secured and left her vehicle out of the roadway until she could get a licensed driver to move it
