CROSSVILLE WOMAN BANNED FROM PROPERTY THINKS GIVING FALSE NAME WORKS AS A DISGUISE

On 09/04/2024, Cumberland County Sherriff’s Deputies were dispatched to E. Mayland Dr. for an unwanted female. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a female identified as Shanna Swallows. Shanna was refusing to leave the residence. She was banned from the property and advised that if she didn’t leave, she would be arrested for trespassing. Shanna left the property on foot.

Shortly after leaving the property dispatch advised that the female was back on the property. Upon arrival, the responding Deputy was notified that Shanna had walked to a residence on E. Mayland Dr. and that she had taken an unknown item from the property with her. The Deputy made contact with Shanna in the backyard of the residence. While approaching Shanna he gave multiple verbal commands for Shanna to come to his location. Shanna would not comply and started walking away from him. Shanna then turned around and stopped. When asked why she was not listening, Shanna stated that her name was Alexis and not Shanna. Shanna was placed into custody and transported to CCSO intake for booking.
