A Crossville woman landed behind bars Thursday on animal abuse and domestic assault charges.

43-year-old Lucy Yvette Hurley allegedly killed a 2-week-old kitten after she kicked it across a room.

Hurley also accused of injuring a man after she slammed a door on him.
