When you think about girls playing sports, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and even cheerleading probably come to mind. But for one Crossville teen, she chose a sport that’s a lot more physical.

Not only is she the first girl to step on a football field at Stone Elementary School, she is also royalty.

The crowd erupted into an applause as Erin Rassel was crowned homecoming queen Thursday night. The tiara typically goes to an 8th grade cheerleader but this year was different.  Channel 10 was there and produced this story on Erin:
