CROSSVILLE TO BE IN THE ‘PATH OF TOTALITY’ OF TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE FOR 2min, 34sec

On Monday, August 21, 2017, a total eclipse of the sun will sweep across the United States from approximately noon until 3:00 PM (Central Time). According to Space.com, it is the first time the path of a solar eclipse will go coast-to-coast since 1918.. The Tennessee State Parks web page has released information concerning the eclipse including all the State Parks where it will be seen in the ‘path of totality’ including Cumberland Mountain State Park just outside Crossville.  The “path of totality” is the section of the earth where the moon will completely block the view of the sun for a short period of time.
